The Reishi mushroom has the nickname "the mushroom of immortality".  We won't go that far with our claims (!), but reishi is researched as a potential "adaptogen" - ie, a plant or mushroom that may have multiple benefits towards the body's overall health.

Counterindications: Reishi acts as a blood thinner and should not be taken but those with low blood pressure or before undergoing surgery.
